Now that I’ve been out of school of sometime I don’t often get the opportunity to babysit—mainly because no one asks anymore. But I love the kids! I spent most of my summers from 8th grade through college working as a nanny several days a week. The kids had totally active imaginations and loved to play outdoors and do crafts (my kind of kids!). When I saw this craft today on The Crafts Dept., Martha Stewart’s craft blog, I thought it would make an AWESOME project to do with your own kids or kids that you nanny who need a little summer activity in their small lives. Create a themed movie afternoon with this craft, popcorn treat making, and a Pixar flick – or better yet, have the kids write their own play and perform it for the neighbors!

I just discovered you have a blog! It’s marvelous, just added to my reader. I especially love your Etsy finds. Can’t wait to see more of those crafts from Martha!
