I started a few new projects these past few weekends while we were “buried” in the snow. Actually, no one was really buried in snow. Being Greenville, half an inch can set off widespread panic and rushes on bread & milk at the grocery store. Seriously, I would stock up on rocky road ice cream if I were getting snowed in!

My husband and I spent the days with friends, going to IHOP for breakfast—yum!— and I enjoyed watching movies and making crafts. Ice cream was involved. So was the creation of new fabric brooches. They are so fun to create, and I have been making good use of all the fabric I’ve been stockpiling for a while. Hopefully I will be able to feature them at a spring art show (tentatively there will be more information coming soon).

Also, I spent a good part of the day whipping up some more fabulous greeting cards.
